The Air Force Falcons are taking their game to new heights this college football season with the introduction of their 2025 'Air Power Legacy Series' uniforms. These threads are designed to honor the F-16 Fighting Falcon, a cornerstone of the U.S. Air Force's aerial might.

Uniform Design Highlights

• Helmet: Inspired by a fighter pilot's gear, the helmet features a silhouette of the F-16 on the front bumper, replicating the pilot's visor cover. The word 'Psycho' is displayed as a tribute to Col. William Andrews, a POW from Operation Desert Storm. The back of the helmet reads 'Viper', a common nickname for the F-16.

• Jersey: The gray jersey proudly displays 'Air Force' in white lettering across the front. It includes two patches: one for the player's name and another representing the corresponding squadron. The sleeves feature the American flag and the squadron patch of the represented base.

• Pants: One pant leg features the word 'Viper', while the other proudly displays 'Fighting Falcon', the official name of the F-16.

Represented Units

The uniforms showcase three bases, two squadrons, and two wings:

• 120th Fighter Squadron, 140th Wing from Buckley Schriever Space Force Base
• 555th Fighter Squadron from Aviano Air Base in Italy
• 20th Fighter Wing from Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina

Game Day

These special uniforms will be debuted during the Air Force's highly anticipated rivalry game against the Navy Midshipmen on October 4. This game promises to be a thrilling showcase of tradition, honor, and fierce competition.
