Crystal Palace have made a significant addition to their squad by securing the services of Argentine goalkeeper Walter Benitez on a free transfer from PSV Eindhoven. The 32-year-old will officially join the club on 1 July, following the expiration of his contract with PSV.

Benitez played a pivotal role in PSV's successful Eredivisie campaign, where they clinched the title by finishing a point ahead of Ajax. He was a consistent presence in the league, showcasing his reliability and skill between the posts.
